RISK.
Take risks worthy of your vision. Respect the cost. Own the outcome.

THE PHILOSOPHY
Back yourself. Respect the cost. Own the work that follows.
Few Risk. Few Win. means taking considered risks and meeting them with discipline. Freedom is something you build, one decision at a time.
When you’re going through the fire, remember: you’re being built, not beaten. Keep your faith. Carry out the ordinary work with excellence, even before the results show.
THE CLOTHING
Boxy tees. Raw hems. Relaxed pants. FRFW puts weight and shape at the center of an everyday wardrobe.
Choose the structure of BASELINE’s 420 GSM cotton, the raw finish of FIRST LIGHT, or RECON’s woven cotton and barrel leg. Different pieces. A shared point of view.
Take risks worthy of your vision. Respect the cost. Own the outcome.
Do the small tasks well. Repeat, even when nobody sees.
Faith is belief before proof. Keep passion in motion. We believe an invisible hand meets that devotion.
Carry each lesson forward. Refine the method. Give small wins time to compound.
Live by your standards. Build with intention. Move on your terms.
FRFW / FIELD NOTES 001
Choose a direction before results are visible.
Build through repetition and honest adjustments.
Each small gain strengthens the next.
NATE BARNES

A WORD FROM NATE BARNES, FOUNDER.
I wasn’t always disciplined.
I was rebellious. Fights. Bad grades. Bad decisions. I tried college and dropped out. As a young adult, I got caught up in bullshit that kept taking me further from the life I wanted.
But I wanted to build something of my own.
I tried business after business and watched shit fall apart. I was beat down, broke, and running out of hope. I lived in my car for months at a time. I stayed in Motel 6s. I cried tears nobody saw. That part of my life was fucking hard.
I own the decisions that put me there. I also respect the part of me that refused to quit. Even with almost nothing to show for it, I still believed I could build something worth a damn.
Eventually, I had to get honest with myself. Wanting more wasn’t enough. My standards had to change. Training, discipline, and taking responsibility became part of how I lived.
I learned to value the boring work. The same small tasks, done properly, day after day. Keeping my word to myself when I didn’t feel like it. That’s where my discipline keeps being built.
FRFW comes from those years. The losses, the lessons, and the faith I kept when I couldn’t see a way forward. I’m building this brand around what that fire taught me: back yourself, do the work, and own every decision.
I want someone wearing it to recognize something of themselves in that story. Maybe you’re starting. Maybe you’re rebuilding. Maybe you’ve made progress and raised the standard again.
FRFW is for people building a life they believe in—through the setbacks, the daily work, and the decision to keep going.
